I have been lucky enough to be involved in this wonderful game for many years, playing State cricket for Victoria, South
Australia and Queensland; Captaining both South Australia and Queensland, then being named Vice Captain of Australia.
I have been privileged to play with many of the great cricketers and against the legends of the game; from the awesome fast bowling attacks of the West Indies to the wonderful spin combinations of India.
I stood at short leg while Viv Richards played some of his finest shots against Lillee and Thompson and in the famous Centenary Test when Derek Randall threatened to cause me injury whilst hooking Dennis Lillee with incredible ease.
Fielded in the slips cordon with Ian Chappell, Greg Chappell and Rod Marsh plotting the downfall of the next batting victim with incredible understanding and foresight was the experience of a lifetime which lead to me enjoying future Captaincy roles.
Scoring more than 5000 first class runs and taking 75 wickets was a very satisfying experience for me. I have also been honoured to be a selector of the Victorian State team and a winner of the Jack Ryder Medal.
This website first came into my thoughts following my recent experience living overseas in Indonesia, Japan and Morocco. When leaving these countries I left many good friends and many good young cricketers with work still undone (particularly in Morocco) and it was my wish to be able to continue my involvement with their cricket development.
This is now a reality and with this unique web site, I will be able to bring to you today, the most up to date, interactive and personal coaching system available.
Join me and let me guide you through the incredible world of cricket.
